Rest your head on this pillow soft,
Lay here with me in this broken loft.
Listen to the rain beat against the roof,
As we make our love into living proof.
Prove to me that we’ve been heaven sent,
That we’re a truly intrinsic sentiment.
Show me that love is of real existence,
That it can beat out the most brutal resistance.
Allow me to feel this powerful emotion,
The one that has everyone up in commotion.
Let me feel why it can take hearts and mend them,
Break others to a point where it will take and condemn.
Awaken my dreams of sweetness and perfection,
Purge me with this so called “lethal injection.”
Evoke the true meaning of being lovestoned,
Love waits for no one it cannot be postponed.
